After months of preparation, anticipation, and consistent hiking, the KILELE Health community made up of cancer survivors, caregivers, and other supporters was ready to take on our most daring challenge: the Mt. Kenya climb.
However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Mt. Kenya hike has been cancelled. While we share this disappointment, our spirit remains unshaken because for us, every step in the #KileleChallenge is a journey of healing.
This October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we head to Thanju Kiambicho Sagana, walking not just for wellness but in solidarity with those facing breast cancer. We carry with us the same energy, purpose, and unity that have defined our journey from the very beginning. The trail may change, but our mission stands firm: movement over stagnation, resilience over fear, and community over isolation.
Because at KILELE, we believe healing happens when we walk it together.
